I just picked up this very tight and well made S-K 8" adjustable wrench. Are these common? How old do you think it is? I never have seen an S-K adjustable before, just mostly ratchets, sockets and open/closed end wrenches.

So I walked into the Restore store the other day and low and behold I walked by this Craftsman grinder. Now I don't really need another grinder as I already have two, but the shape this one is in puts mine to shame. Yes, it has its paint chips and scratches, but for a 7-17-69 build date its in...
Here are some pictures of a flying V 1/4" socket set that was purchased as part of a complete flying V mechanic tool set along with a standard tool box in the early sixties. Does anyone have any information on when Craftsman started with the red plastic inserts in the metal socket boxes and...

I picked up a 1/2" Craftsman ratchet that has quite noticeable play between the knurled thumb wheel and the ratchet body. It doesn't appear abused but I was wondering if anyone has ever used a thin round shim to take up this space? I thought i have seen someone on a discussion mention they...
I picked up this Fleet 1/4 " drive socket set at a Restore Store. Case and tools are in excellent shape for being used. I know its thought of as a budget brand, but it is USA made and perfectly functional and of course the presentation in that red case I couldn't pass up

I was able to recently pick up a vintage November 1963 2 drawer Red/Grey Craftsman upper tool chest. I was planning on restoring the unit and proceeded to remove the drawers. I've previously restored later units, but never a 2 drawer chest. In comparing the slides on this 1963 unit I noticed...
