I just finished taking apart my 106 reed. It is missing the lead screw, threads look like 1" by 4-5 tpi. Anyone give me confirmation? Will acme thread from mcmaster-carr work? Has anyone called the reed factory trying to get Any parts? Anyone have a spare lead screw?

I don't think that is the one I have, wil check in the morning.

I am looking for 6" Reed parts, lead screw and handle. Also Parker 107-6 parts. Have 2 interesting American Scale Co vises....first is an 8" in excellent condition weight #287 with swivel base. Second is 6" with swivel jaw in good condition weight #191, are there other such vises out there...
