I’m not sure what your end goal is with this post, but I have the M18 impact driver flavor and I love it, extremely versatile tool. You can use it with 1/4” hex drills/paddle bits in a bind, which is helped by its long body and low profile head. Years ago I put a 1/2” drive socket adapter +...

Battery powered lawn spot sprayer question

@Dozerhand I just ran across this thing, which has the self cleaning function that you mentioned: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QPY6TLL?tag=atomicindus08-20 The sprayers this brand sells appear to use many if not all of the same components of the Flowzone/Spraymate/Yard Mastery sprayers (I have...

    7600 RPM (Metabo)

The variable speed model maxes out at 7600 rpms and the non-vs model is 9600. The motors are identical, so the question is why are max rpms limited on the variable speed model? My theory has always been due to the need to keep the motor cooler at the lower speeds enabled by the vs electronics...

    Need help with air compressor

That is maybe a 2hp motor. A real 3hp motor would be rated for 25-30 amps on 120v, and for that reason, they don’t really exist. Regardless, I’m surprised it taps out that fast. It’s certainly not a heavy duty unit, but I bet something’s wrong with it aka faulty. Put an amp clamp on it to confirm.

Anyone here buy solvent/lubricants in bulk and load into air pressure spray cannisters?

Picked this up from McMaster a while back. 16oz, great size, works awesome. Never buying cans of WD again

Drilling about 2 dozen anchor holes, what drill?

You really can’t go wrong with anything from the reputable tool brands. The reason why I’m not suggesting “brand x” is because you really can’t go wrong with anything from the reputable tool brands. It’s that simple. It’s important to note that even HFT SDS drills have a good reputation...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Probably an unbalanced bank of cells. That issue plagues the 9.0s and 12.0s for some reason.

NEW TEKTON LOCKING and WOBBLE EXTENSIONS

I have some Craftsman USA locking extensions that are just like those and appreciate how low profile the lock release is. Personally, I think it’s a superior design to the Tektons/etc.

Mini/Micro Extensions Other than Tekton Chrome?

Yeah, those Tekton mini extensions are pretty much as mini as they can be. They are truly short and fit up tight to the socket. I use the 1/2” one all the time when torquing wheel lugs to get a hair more fender clearance as my torque wrench is non-flex. Are they an acceptable substitute for...
