Joe, the 20# tanks will work but start to ice up when around 1/2 full. you could manifold 2 or more together or get a 100# and deal with the cumbersome size/weight. (I have 4 of them as well) I have the same forge and use the 20# tanks all the time for 2-3hrs at a time.

The cost and necessity of having it ground are just not there. I am not a fab shop nor do I do precision work. I needed a large-ish, close to flat as possible table to do all sorts of welding and layout of larger smithing projects if the need arises. It will also provide a large work "bench"...
