Anything comparable M18 FUEL SURGE 1/4" Hex Hydraulic driver or recommend

I don't have any experience with the hydraulic driver, but I have had Milwaukee M18 and M12 stuff for several years. How much do you have invested in the Makita tools? Do you have just the one or several that use the same batteries? How old is the stuff you have? At $250 or so for the...

    Full view garage doors

If you get the clear glass, a sign shop can install dusted or frosted on it (preferably on the inside so no one can pick it off and if the windows are dirty..you can't see it!). The diffusion of sunlight is nice (like in the pics above) and no one can see in. if you are handy and want to learn...

    The Garage Journal V3

That has been our experience on opelgt.com, also now owned by VS. They fixed some stuff, but have basically said, "You're not worth it." The XenForo seems like it is designed to emulate social media and is optimized for mobile usage as that is how things are going, not old style forums (that...

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

You are welcome! I know what it's like to work with cheap stuff and good stuff, so when someone starts asking about upgrading I feel like I have to chime in. I have nothing against cheaper tools, if they do the job they are designed for without hassle. I had to upgrade after helping my dad build...

    Blast Cabinet Improvement

There are different types...the white or black VHB (very high bond) foam based tape is more commonly found. It is not as resistant to blasting as the 3M grey which is a denser material (and I think referred to as XHB: Extremely High Bond).

    4x6 Horizontal Bandsaw Options

Yep, I have one very similar, if not the same. I like the fact it cuts slow and the blades are nice and thick with little deflection. I think I paid $125 for it.

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

It's not my conversation, but if you don't mind... I've had my Milwaukee M18 set for 6 years or so. I purchased a set, drill, sawzall, circular saw and they all still work just fine. Same batteries, too. They've all seen a lot of use. I've had smoke coming out of the screwgun, but it still...

    Help identify tool chest

I'm kind of guessing, but the decal on it leads me to think it looks like an old 70's 'Tune Up" base cabinet for an auto service station. The vertical bars might have held a shelf or extended up to an upper bank of equipment: ignition analyzer/dwell/tach. There may have been a distributor...

    Help finding lighting/unistrut product

Lowes also carries Superstrut. Very much the same thing as UniStrut. usually they have both the regular (1 5/8" x 1 5/8") and the shallower version. An interesting tidbit...frequently it is cheaper to buy 10' threaded rod and coupler nuts (and sometimes the washers and nuts) in the electrical...
