Where to find 60 lb propane tank

I currently use a 60 lb and love it. Just the right size/cap. for me. Not too heavy, fits in trunk of car if needed. Mine was a gift, but it looks as if Worthington Cylinders out of Ohio still makes new. Retailers include Lowes, Ace Hardware and McMaster-Carr. Maybe you could order one through...

    Ideal In-Sure™ Push-In Wire Connectors

Knock on wood..... My whole garage is wired with these things. A little over a year on them. Wired compressor too. I hope they work for the long haul, cause I think they are the next best thing since sliced bread. I hate the sight of a wire nut after using them. They are expensive though. For a...

What should we coat this trailer floor with?

I would use Epoxy-Coat of course, that same stuff for your garage would be great in this case too. Just make sure to add the non-slip stuff. No Brainer...

    Keypad garage entry, thoughts?

The Deadbolt lock from Schlage, unlike yours, will not lock itself, you have to manually do it. If I'm not mistaken, my Kwikset will do multiple codes and warn of low battery just like yours. Battery's last a long time BTW. Yours is a very nice piece BTW.

    Keypad garage entry, thoughts?

My reasoning on Schlage vs Kwikset keypad deadbolts and why I chose Kwikset... While I fully agree that Schlage makes the higher quality unit, It doesn't lock automatically. If they want to get in they will, with either lock. The Kwikset eliminates the possibility of entry through a door that...

    Keypad garage entry, thoughts?

I have a Kwikset smart code electronic deadbolt on the man door. Locks all by itself and code to get in. (key backup) No worries about someone forgetting to lock a door! This thing is the next best thing to sliced bread! Wouldn't buy any other deadbolt! A tiny bit expensive BUT worth every...

Using 20# propane bottle on fixed heater

All propane regulators are not created equal !!! DO NOT just hook up your torpedo Reg to the new heater without checking. My torpedo heater has a 10lb reg pressure, way too high for most other heaters. I have a vent-less wall heater and the pressure for that is half a pound, you will often see...

    New Craftsman Chest Drawer Design

I checked out the Craftsman boxes and found it a pain. I then bought Blue Point boxes only to find the top I got was the same way. The bottom BP is the slide the latch under the lip variety, I find this even more annoying. (I get Snap-On for 50% off, everything, everyday ) What I've...

    Railroad ties

I don't post much (mainly 'cuz you guys cover the bases so well) But I had to chime in... I don't know much, but one thing I do know, DONT USE STEEL SLAG UNDER ANYTHING! Living in a steel town, you WILL be VERY SORRY! Hope this saves just one life...

    T 5 lighting

I have one T5 HO in my 24x24 along with T5 and T12 and I can tell you it is the most impressive light in the shop. The difference in light between the T5 and T5 HO is amazing! Don't get too many HO's or you'll go blind!!! Good Luck!

    Blow in insulation- The machine

My experience is with HD and 80+ bags over three blows. HD has/had two machines, one for walls and one for loose fill apps. I strongly recommend the loose fill machine for ALL applications. They seem to be worried about blowing out your walls... I just can't see it. The loose fill machine is...
