Started to get the garage organized today for a project my dad and I are gonna work on. I'm excited as the new project is a Henry Deuce roadster. Gonna be fun. And now th boat shoehorned between the car and the garage door. My measurements were actually correct!! :)

Lol....well no not really. It was more like 4.5 weeks...Honestly it didn't take that long. I was outa town for work for a week and another week or so got killed for more work. It probably took me about 4 days if I had worked solid on it.

Yes, the house has tyvek house wrap. I thought vapour barrier also helped with stopping air flow though?

I was told once to never use screws in the construction of framing, such as in joist hangars. Reason is because screws don't have the shear strength that a nail has. This true?

What kind of nails should I use? I was going to use "joist hangar nails"
