We have a bosch sds max drill capable of drilling 1 9/16 holes with a solid bit. Larger with a core bit. For the application you are using it for. You would need this style drill with a solid 1 1/2 bit. Core bit will not work because the core will still be left there afterwards. Our drill was...
I bought a dorman kit from pepboys for general use. They are 8.8metric. Good enough for general automotive use. If i need a grade 8 or 10.9 i buy by the piece at my local fastener supply or i order the origional bolt from the manufacturer.
The dorman kits have a good variety for the price. I...
I personally use wix xp oil filters on my duramax and napa pro selects on my cobalt. Use motorcraft filters on my father inlaws truck. I prefer to usewix/napa or the oe filter. The spec's on the wix xp filters is pretty good. Id check them out.
These wrenches are more susceptible to this because the steel is a little cheaper. But ive done this to my snap-on wrenches before. So don't feel to bad.
Been using snap-on air tool oil at work for atleast 7 years. Got it free with a gunni bought way back in the day. At home i use husky air tool oil i grabbed at homedepot one day. Works good. Better then nothing. Ive used pb blaster and atf in a pinch in the past. It works i just don't like the...
I never was a fan of that style but it works. Its all preference. Thats a god deal if it all works. The seals is a big ??? If the machine was designed for aequous wash then it may not be compatable with solvent based products.
Jpickar. You share the same love i have for 4" adjustables. When ever i see one i grabe it. Got a small collection now. They come in handy for small stuff. I got a bunch of smalls. Ill post pics on monday.
Williams is the only one with a quality made us made wrench. Id go willams. Supperior to the rest of those brands. Silver eagle is made by husky. Blue point being similar to that. Just cheaply made chinese tools.
For bit type sockets ie.torx, allen, etc. ive found snap-on and VIM to be about the best. Last the longest and don't dull/round out fast. They are worth the money in my opinion.
Its all opinion. Im not a fan of the new instinct screwdriver handles. Not a fan of their version of a chanellock plier/water pump pliers. They are big bulky and not really that great. Multimeters are over rated. Just buy fluke way better. The epiq tool boxes and carts are way too damn expensive.
I wouldn't recomend an autel product. Like said above everytime you turn around they are getting sues. I personally used the maxidas and it was a sliw pos that froze all the time. I use snap-on scanners along with a launch x431 pad, tech 2, drb3 and wds.
