Well, since I'm going to go "whole hog" with the construction I'd might as well look into some alternate flooring to the concrete. Anyone have any experience with garage floor treatments like that aggregate pebbling or anything else?
Yea. Now I'm gonna have to "do some learnin" on how to frame out the door. The floor in concrete and the header is an I beam. Interestingly looking this up on the net most people want to go from 2 to 1 door and not the other way around.
I'm definitely thinking about doing this as I'll have many more options for doors. My wife doesn't like the idea but I'm not sure I'll be able to find a way around it.
Looks like the Clopay doors come in max of 20 feet wide. When I tried to add 2 inches to that on the home depot site the price jumped up to 2 million dollars. Made me laugh out loud that they were going to let me complete that transaction with my Master Card online.
