    Well water stink

Take a close look at what the filter material is made of also. I have a well and I had the same problem. Turns out the filter material was cellulose and the organic material was breaking down which caused the stink. Says it right on the package - recommended for chlorinated water supplies...

Sorry. I can't help myself. I'll bet you can see Uranus with that thing.

    Sticky Wheel Weights

I usually take a square of that sticky aluminum tape and put it over the (****** or good sticking) wheel weight so that I'm sure they don't fall off.

    clay caves

My thinking exactly. My first move would be a big ******* sign on my property that pointed to the hole and called out the flippers **** up. I think you will be surprised how fast real estate agents and potential buyer questions push dipshit flipper to try and make you happy. Cheap and most...

Single Post Car Lift - Stuck in Lifted Position

Is it fully extended? Can you bump it up a little to release whatever may be holding it?

    Chainsaw Questions- 80V Greenworks

If you have verified that things are sufficiently oiled and you're not way overloading a dull chain I would be wondering if my bar was bent.

    ID this plant please

It really is great. Instant gratification. Is that poison ivy? Nope - that's wild Sarsaparilla. WTF is that? That is a Beaked Hazelnut. I've never seen one either.

Some advice on wood for a deck railing

Thanks. I looked at Advantage Lumber and the dimensions of Cumaru I wanted would have had to be shipped on my dime from two different warehouses in the southeast. I didn't want to pay or wait. I found a local broker that had this stuff called Angelique which is a lot like teak. I'm picking...

    ID this plant please

FYI, there is an awesome app called seek that you can put on your phone which will identify plants and bugs using your camera. Works really well.

That looks great. I'm definitely doing cable. What is the longest span you have between posts?

Some advice on wood for a deck railing

Outside deck and fully exposed to weather. I should have been more specific. Untreated pine doesn't live long around here and I was hoping for something with a higher aesthetic and lower maintenance. Also, I'd like to avoid a finish that needs to be stripped off when it fails.

Some advice on wood for a deck railing

Hi all, I have a decent design in mind using 4x4, 6x6, 2x6, and 2x4s. It doesn't have to be pre-made railing components. I'm struggling with what kind of wood to use. I'd like something that looks nice and will last a really long time. Cumaru and IPE are an option though cost is high and...

Current "good" 4' LED ballast bypass bulbs?

I've had very good luck with the Parmida bulbs. Ballast bypass, type B. Not a single failure in 5 years, ran out and reordered recently and the quality had not changed. Multiple color temps to choose from, I went with 4000K. $96 for a box of 20, free shipping...

    Sewing machine recommendation?

I did a ton of research a couple of years ago and bought a new Juki 1541 after shopping around. I had never sewn anything more than a button but was determined to learn after getting stupid quotes for boat cushions and a new zipper for my dry suit. I also want to use it to do some car seat...

Curator setting up Airplane Hanger car collection shop Help!

Dear Robert, I need a portable lift. It needs to operate on 39 volt, 4 phase DC power and match the color of my "show jet". I believe the Benjamin Moore show jet color is called "Unicorn". The original painter said it was made from real unicorns - hope that helps. I don't need it until...
