    Protecting a Hardwood Floor from Office Chair Casters

    I have a 5x7 rug and cushioned rug pad (with the holes) under my chair on top of a finished oak floor. I was afraid the vinyl/plastic protectors you see would damage the floor either by sticking to it, or trapping air/moisture under it.

    What is a good degreaser anymore ?

    "Simple Green" works well, if you need or want something stronger, I have used "Zep" for many similar projects. Another product I have looked into, but never used is "POR-15 Metal Prep", has anyone used this?

    Clear Epoxy????

    I have a painted epoxy floor in my garage. It's great for keeping the garage clean and looking nice. If I had to do it again, I think I would go with a penetrating stain and sealer. I've noticed a few spots where the car tires sit that it has come off. Whatever you decide, the prep is really...
