What did you do "IN" your garage today?

It’s the first, and I think hardest step. The pedal is currently not doing anything, but proving that it fits in place and should work. Wits this hurdle crossed, I can measure and start planning for the TKX that’s going in. May need some floor pan rework, but should be otherwise straightforward...

Well, there we go, past the point of no return. Cut off the pedal pad. Drove down to a friend’s shop, he has a press. Pressed the bend out of the arm. Temporarily mounted in the car, figured out where the new pedal pad needs to go. Removed extra metal and ground smooth. Mock up...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Started adding a third pedal to my hot rod. Supported the master cylinder, blocked it in place so it can’t go anywhere. The nuts I need to remove inside hold the booster and master in place. Working alone, don’t want anything moving on me. Dropped the column, removed the brake pedal, then...

After a phone call to the clutch pedal company, did a bunch of measuring and pondering. I think it’ll fit, though I’m going to have to modify the pedal arm.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

CAD/CAM Cardboard Aided Design / Cardboard And Masking-Tape Basically making a cardboard copy of an aftermarket hydraulic clutch pedal assembly. Do not want to modify the original ($) until I know it’ll work. Don't think it’s going to work, though.

Making an ‘old work’ ice maker box

There are probably many ways to cut nnect the water to the fridge and route the line. Just so long as it’s nearly routed, it’s all good.

I got them for a forecast huge rain event. Helps move the water further away from the house. I put them on if we’re supposed to get a big rain. Mostly they just stay in the shed.

Replaced the PS mirror on the Camry, after it had a spontaneous self disassembly event last week. $60 on Amazon for a whole new mirror assembly, ready to install. The plastic on the old one just gave out. This used to be under spring tension, which seems like a bad idea for plastic...

Score another win for the cheap Amazon Chinese carburetors. Looks exactly like the old one. Installs in minutes. And it started and ran on the third pull of the rope. Cleaning up from the A/C project. Found the wrong way to remove the clutch assembly from the front. Disassembled the rest...
