So I picked up this MAC AW434 impact this morning for $10. Seller said it worked great going forward but it was slow on reverse. Figured I'd take a chance on seeing if I could fix it. Any suggestions as to how to go about fixing it?

I have one of those indestro closed heads with a different handle. Only works one way. Maybe soaking it in ATF will help. Thank you.

Sorry what I meant to say as what do you think it may mean? I'm wondering if it is some kind of stamping done by a company near you. I come across tools that were marked by GE but it's always done with a dremel

Haha that's how it was when I saw it on letgo. I sent the picture to my dad and he jumped up off the couch and called me. Left his house before I even got an answer from the guy about a time and address.

Thank you. I had been up very late last night trying to find anything and wasn't having luck. Very much appreciated. Hopefully we are going back to the guy that sold the roller and buying a big old craftsman crown top drill press today.

I definitely agree. I didn't mean to come off saying that they were giving contracts out to sub par companies. I know what I want to say I'm just having difficulty expressing it at the moment. Much apologies.

In my opinion it seems like craftsman was giving contracts out to every tool manufacturer whenever they felt like it with no rhyme or reason to their madness as long as the $$$ kept rolling in.
