I have a jack parts business in Daytona Beach, FL. I was probably conceived in the garage & I have been fixing things all my life. I have a truck & diesel road service business That I started in 1988. Sad to say, modern technology has whipped me & it is too costly for an independent guy like me to keep up with the computers & emissions ****. So I started a jack repair business about 10 years ago & it has been very successful in my neck of the beach! I was buying parts from a mom & pop business in Tampa, FL. He had been fixing jacks for 50 years & she sold jack parts. They retired & I bought the jack parts business. Now I am really a jack of all trades! There a re still some old diesels out there that I can work on, but they are slowly disappearing, thanks mostly to some guys in Washington that know nothing about diesels.
