How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

I run 11 KW of servers in my garage. It's primarily me that would be seen as noisy I think but I'd like to minimize that next place.

    Another driveway “sealing” question

So let's say it was sealed prior, and now has cracks and the appearance of needing sealant again? What do you use to fill the cracks? I got hit up buy a "spray n pray" and bit at 400 + made them do some edge patching. They did a horrible job on the edge patch and the sealant lasted about 9...

How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

Me wanting to be 10x distance I am currently from others will be very costly. Going to need to bring that down several notches.

How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

I think 2000ft would be sufficient based on what properties we have cyber stalked so far. I am just trying to get a base minimum to set in the filters. We have visited and love the panhandle and nearby treed areas in Idaho a lot. It is high up the list.

How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

So maybe we should start looking in the 20 range sounds like the suggestion. We have friends on 10 and that doesn't seem like enough. A lot more options open up when I adjust the filter down to 20.

How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

is this lot layout without trees and on pretty flat land? I kind of view that as a farm type lot which is not really what we are hoping for. We have seen the super long skinny lots which Florida seems to have often and we hope to have closer to a square. Would it be possible if he had lot line...

How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

Getting acreage is kind of a drug I think. We finally crossed into the 1+ size on the recent house and realize now what an amazing benefit even our 1.6 offers us. Currently we have around 200+ ft from our structure to the neighbors houses. Nice but it could be better. We have been looking for...

Is a Barndominium right for me?

They seem really expensive on the niche sites I was using, but Texas is huge and that can add up to a hell of a commute pretty quick . I think I figured out why they didn't show up in my area browsing on Zillow also. FSBO, many look like outright sellers. Also there is a keyword modifier in the...

Anyone else doing a datacenter in the garage?

So what I do is an active strategy that is 2 part. 1st I have a very decent air seal. I accomplished this with normal blue painters tape. I know but yeah it works great. Its also fast, cheap and not permanent. I dont use the garage doors. Layers of it work wonders. 2nd part. Fine small micron...

    Electric work on other's Properties

This is it right here. Sure you can maybe get buy until some homeowner does something dumb. But when they do, and someone will, expect problems. They mess up some drilling, attic work and end up with a fire or a flood the insurance co. is going to be asking "who installed this new sub panel" or...

Is a Barndominium right for me?

That's a pretty solid plan on the barndo income streams. Question since ya looked into this pretty deep. Do these get good resale? Around the hill country I almost never see them listed so no idea. Maybe people love them so much they just never sell um.

Is a Barndominium right for me?

I recently saw a barndo that was around 120 by 60. I would guess the garage was 40" of that attached. They had a highly functionally useful 80 x 60 2 story interior finished out like a nice house. Inside there one would have no idea it was steel framed. Above normal grade finished. They had a...
