When I looked at the HF jacks stands that my neighbor owns, the base was similar but the saddles are different. The Cman's were lower profile.

Just to follow up. I've been putting the Arcan jack to work a bit and it has been great. I've found that with a little patience you can control the lowering of the jack to the stands quite nicely. The Arcan seems to require a bit more finesse than a few other jacks that I've used. You can't...
