    A small win every weekend with my (originally) seized Reed No 32. It's stamped with 325 on the left side of both jaws. Evidently Reed fixed casting defects with bondo (3rd picture).

    I witness yellowing when using solid brass brushes (not easy to find these days). Especially on cast iron or rust pitted surfaces. Never seen it with brass plated steel brushes. Honestly, never understood why those exist. I guess to make you pay the brass price for a steel product.

    Just finished refreshing No. 76 American Scale. Does anyone happen to know if American Scale sold these before their Red Seal series or after? I wasn't able to find No. 76 in catalogs.

    I tried to find it in catalogs too as No 16 when I took it home and only during the disassembly I realized it's "7" and not "1". After disassembling everything and cleaning it turned out to be in a very good condition for its age.
