Roll pin punch set, please advise on purchase

One of the two snap on tools i own, and their roll pin punch set is solid. I beat the living piss out of one of the punches and it held up fantastic. The edges took a hit, but honestly, what i needed to do in the timeframe, either the pin was coming out or the punch was getting destroyed. Oxy...

    Milwaukee Hammer Drill is smoking

Wrong tool for the application. Not being a ****, im guilty of it many times a week. Just a few things you gotta look out for/understand. Mixing takes alot of torque, also depending on the diameter and. Agressiveness of your mixing blade, and viscosity etc. Plus the length of run time to...

Strange motorized 2 shafted tool ID?

Guess it all depends what you doing. The low rpm ones i guess you would call agitator/stirrer where a thousand +rpm id consider high speed dispersion, also ALOT more horsepower then a stirrer lol. We use both at work, and the inbetween. I dont personally use them. The labs do.

Strange motorized 2 shafted tool ID?

The labs at work use mixers similar but different to that. I seen this thread earlier and forgot to take a pic before i left. The speed controller on the end is an auto transformer, at least ours are and that looks similar, but ours use a seperate auto transformer, not mounted on the motor...

Dimmer Switch for 1HP 220v pool blower motor?

easiest IMO would be to partially block the inlet Like others have said, dimmer wont work. AC motor speed is dependant on line frequency/number of poles. DC motor speed dependant on voltage. AFAIK you can change rpm with voltage in AC motors, but only rpm, what your doing is increasing slip...

    Precision screwdrivers, which one?

PB swiss grip handle material is my absolute favorite. Edit. I have and use the wera's quite often. They are excellent. I have PB swiss small drivers 00 and 0 in slotted and phillips (i think) But without the swivel, although i love them, i like the weras better, cause the handle profile and...

    The Industrial Maintenance Man

If i remember correctly, 2 weeks for machining. Only lathes and milling machines. No fancy **** like shapers, or rotary tables, surface grinders, complex machining/CNC. Etc. Looked at a few diff provinces and i seen from 60hrs-140hrs on machining.

How much pressure loss is acceptable

You could be lazy and weld the leak closed. Or try peining it closed with a center puch/hammer? Just my first few thoughts. Or Python-Wrap Pipe Leak Repair Kit

    Vise first tool chest

For me i dont need anything more substantial. Its a small vise. I use it to hold stuff like: threaded rod to cut with hacksaw, wires to solder, small pipe fittings, anything threaded to run a die/thread restore down, pieces of anything that needs to be drilled, painted, scribed filed, deburred...

Paint Coatings, What You Need To Know

That was an immersion (or basket)mill, but a high. speed disperser(or mixer) came off the trailer next. These ones were from germany, you built german ones? Or for hockmeyer?

Paint Coatings, What You Need To Know

Nahh it was just a random industrial gearbox i worked on in the past. Was a vertical hollow shaft worm drive that leaked all the oil out and ran dry. That is the result. Happy new years friend. Stay safe. Did your troybuilt horse look similar? Couple more pics for your enjoyment.
