Painters finally finished! Banisters and curbing installed. FINAL INSPECTION PASSED!!! Now the organizing begins. Couches and TV put in, dart board is up, shelves upstairs and a weight machine....or a fancy drying rack lol

Every vehicle that goes on my lift that is not a family members, is charged a bottle of Bumbu black. Same goes for the car hauler! My youngest son has many friends that drive trucks that frequently need work done lol.

Sorry for the late response. I have a symmetrical lift. Measurement from the garage door to the center of the post is 14'2". Center of post to the front bumper is approx 9'6", but this can change as the truck isn't always in the exact same spot every time. My overhead door is 14 ft high.

Off the top of my head, I'm wondering if starting over with one building might be the way to go. One would have to do a detailed cost analysis to determine.

Well, I finally got around to installing the light with the old sensor. And it didn't work. So, I ordered a new sensor from Amazon that actually had an LED rating. One of the few that I could find. In the process of changing the sensor, I decided to bypass the sensor and wire the light...

I would go with 10ft door, even if you don't need it. The next owner might. When we were looking for a house many years ago, there were so many garages that my 1 ton with a high rise canopy wouldn't fit in.
