Sorry for the delay - had some roof problems we had to attend to first - and thanks for the info! I liked the idea of the QwikJoint, but it looks like I need to do a mechanical application based on the videos and spec sheet I read. Is there something similar that doesn't require angle grinding...

You're probably right - we had a bunch of tree roots in our connections to the sewer main and had to do a lot of work on that. That's more than I'm prepared to tackle right now, unfortunately - time and money are too much of a factor. But good to know that anything I do is likely a temporary fix.
