You could rent a cement saw and score your own 'tile' marks in it, stain it, then seal it up for some shine and protection. The stains come in a ton of colors...

I'm not sure if they're fire rated. I doubt it. When I bought them, they were the only 2x4 stud there. No regular colored wood. I thought it was strange. I guess they mark them for quick identification to differentiate.

Those are 2x4 studs. That is what the home depot here sells for their 8 foot studs. They call them purple studs, but you're right, they are pink. Adds a little color to the room, lol.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think scraping after the base oat dries with the flakes in it, and top coating with clear epoxy and then urethane will get me where I want to be. Thanks again for the help.
