    Thank you heated floor!

    Absolutely the best thing I ever did was design and install Hydraulic in floor heating on my 1300sf attached garage build.Turn the floor on at the end of October and turn it off in April. Two 16 x 7 insulated doors 2x6 framing. Cozy 62 degrees 24/7 All winter long .

    What did you do "TO" your garage today?

    Installed a new flatscreen television and 5.1 sound system,now enjoying a nice ice cold beverage with my good friend that helped me build my garage, even let him set my favorite chair, it's the least I can do . He gave up many weekends to help me

    2 post lift- how close to wall? Resdiential app.

    I placed my altlas 2' from the wall. At times it can be close but when you consider when you rack a car/truck it sets inside the post about 12' to 18' I have had no problems pulling axles or prying down on control arms. Hope this helps

    drywall & paint done still need to figure out what to do with floor. at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    long bed trk on two post

    I use two tall screw jacks one at each end when I lift a long truck.it makes it so much more stable and safe.

    30x40 Detached garage or "Things you wish you had done the first time?"

    saw cut the floor joints instead of trowel also would have added floor color when poured. i would also gone 4 feet wider and deeper.my addition is 26x40 onto a 19x20 but I always have to stop and tell myself 1400st is more then enough room. without this site I would have never thought of putting...

    i have also used a portapower pump with the correct fitting on the end of the hose and forced jack oil in to it to break it loose

    you can buy a tool off the tool truck thats made for hard to grease joint/pins. you load grease in to it place it on the zerk and hit it with a hammer.sometimes i use knocker loose penetrant oil insted of grease and let set over night. hope this helps.

    I agree not that far out sometimes you can loosen the 2 lower bolts on the strut and pull to correct the camber then retorque.
