I have a 2015 F250 with Ford factory bedliner. Pulled the bedliner yesterday and it looked pretty good after I vacuumed the pine needles and leaves out. Some paint missing in one or two spots and some surface rust.
So what to apply to the bed to protect it going forward. The plastic bedliner...
One can install step flashing against the stucco wall and then install counter flashing on top of the step flashing with a 90 degree bend in the counter flashing shoved into a slot cut in the stucco. And caulked. The roofing companies that don't want to mess with stucco will do it that way...
So my home has an asphalt roof that in places meets a faux stucco wall.
Most likely when the house was built, the roofing guys did the roof before the stucco wall was done. The roofers put up step flashing up against the wall. Latter on the stucco people came along and put the stucco on top...
I have a 10 yr old Northern electric pump and diesel heater hot water pressure washer. Has not been used in years. The first problem is the heating coil was blocked. I connected up a higher pressure gas pressure washer to the coil and unblocked it but not sure if there is still some blockage...
One nice thing about getting a cordless tool battery repacked is in some cases you can get a more powerful (in amp/hr) battery than what came originally.
I have settled on Dewalt 18V XPR batteries and have 6 or 7 tools. I wish they would make a chainsaw.
Keep in mind there are charts that list vaporization rates for various tank sizes drawing various amounts of propane. In the winter a 100 lb tank may not be large enough to run a 30K heater. And of course the tank needs to be outside where its cold.
For example, for me to run a 24 HP 8KW...
I am picking up a used Winco propane generator off CL. Eliminate the old fuel problems in the carb and also fuel storage problems. Also consider what kind of power outage will it be, local or widespread. Remember San Diego last summer where 1.3M people had no power. How easy is it to find...
I am toying with the idea of getting a Dewalt 18V 1/2" impact wrench. It seems pretty powerful. And I have other Dewalt 18V stuff.
However may I am just being lazy. I have decent 1/2" and 3/4" pneumatic wrenches and a two stage compressor with hose reels and a shorter coiled hose.
I have one of those vehicle emergency kits I got at Sams Club that seems to be pretty good. I also carry a 10BC rated fire extinguisher and a small first aid kit and a cheap poncho and warm work gloves. In the winter I also carry a marine tool kit from my boat. I got a combo red/amber flasher...
What about the radiant electric quartz ceiling heaters that Northern sells for $49.99? Maybe two for my attached garage. If its really cold I could run my propane torpedo for 15 minutes and that will get it very toasty. I had it 88F last Sunday. I tend to open a side door for the garage a...
