I maybe getting a new house and Garage soon. The garage has no 220v outlets but I will need about 4 of them installed. Anybody have an idea of how much that would cost. What if I did the tunneling through the studs myself...would this cut down on the cost?

Lets all just calm down. If you actually watched both videos you would know that particular vise was a remake, not an original. I wasnt planning on spending years searching for an original pattern makers vise but a newly manufactured one like in the video.
They say it is the most versitle vise ever designed and after watching a few videos, I agree. The only thing is that it was built for woodworkers. I enjoy carpentry construction but I am no cabinet maker or anything like that. But I do a lot of welding and I think this vise would be perfect...

I think the Gray tool cabinet pro series has a powder coat finish. Thats what it looks like to me in the pictures anyway. I may look into having a body shop do it, then I know it would be perfect. Then again I am ambitious and perhaps I could begin practicing. I am not going to buy craftsman...
