Power and lighting ideas for Gazebo

Hey all, If you were planning a 12x16 gazebo for your yard, what kind of power options and lighting would you plan for? I'm going to run power to it from the house, but don't want to go overboard, but also don't want to not have enough. Possible consumers... Ceiling fan Strings of lights...

Cool German Auto Plant Assembly PowerPoint show

That is pretty slick. I was hoping my team 'had' to go to Wolfsburg for work this year, but we just got back from our facility in Puebla which is setup in a similar fashion with the exception of the maple plates in the floor. The line even adjusts up and down as it moves to accomodate...

Looking to buy a VW TDI, would like some help

Herb is spot-on regarding the oil issue. I've heard people complain about it costing more or being 'hard' to find, but USE WHAT THE MANUFACTURER SAYS TO! In the planes I fly, I'm to use MIL-L-22851 Aviation Grade Ashless Dispersant Oil.. Why? Because that oil specification is what the...

Looking to buy a VW TDI, would like some help

That reminds me. FORGET THE FRY-GREASE/OIL/SCHMEGMA STUFF for the newer TDI's. MAJOR issues as the fuel injection system won't like it one bit. It'll run, but not for long.

Looking to buy a VW TDI, would like some help

The TDI is a great way to fly if it works for your particular style of driving. They come across as cost prohibitive when you look at the price they sell for used, but why do people ask for and get so much for them used? They last and work well. If you're a 5 mile/day driver then DO NOT BUY...

How deep should I make my cabinets?

I like those divider slots. I've been using some boxes by Bosch that I've had for a decade that are cardboard and have the movable partitions. I think I may have to upgrade!

How deep should I make my cabinets?

I'm looking at things like this for the really high wall cabinets, but I've got to find a less expensive alternative. http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=10842

How deep should I make my cabinets?

Here are more pics. The cabinet doors will be assembled once I get these units made and in position (I need floor space!!!!) This has been alot of fun though. I've spent $625 in materials (Home Depot has a sale on 3/4 AC cabinet grade plywood and I purchased 25 sheets) so far. I'll...

How deep should I make my cabinets?

I ended up making the wall cabinets 12" deep (11.75" plywood and .25" x.75" trim on the face) and 24" deep (23.75" and .25" x .75" trim) for the 'pantry' cabinets.

How deep should I make my cabinets?

They will be above the workbench in one spot, and free 'standing' in other areas. My neighbors have been wondering what the heck I'm going to use the 20 4' twin tube flourescents in my garage for. They're to prevent me from cutting off my fingers!

How deep should I make my cabinets?

I've got the room for 36", but I was thinking it was too much. I'm going to put totes in it so I think the 24" may be the way to go.
