My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Hi all. I wanted to add some more tool storage so I decided to buy the toolchest that fits over my tool trolley. After doing so, I didn't like the fact I lost the working area on top of the trolley and also the opening top of the toolchest was quite high for my taste. The time taken to realise...

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Hi it's an Alfa Romeo Sprint. And yes, in Cyprus we drive on the "wrong" side. Where are you located if I may ask? I'm not proud of that stand, it was made out of scrap stock I had laying around. I had the engine hanging from the hoist and built the stand around it. Let me know if you need...

Thank you all for your comments. I´m sorry about the pictures not showing, it looks like there´s a limit in bandwith which was exceeded because I posted many pictures at once. Photobucket says it will be reset automatically. I´ll bump the thread once it´s repaired.

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

I promised a picture of the fridge, so here it is with a few others pics. The fridge is located in what was my workshop before I did the whole makeover and has now been promoted to "The Office" of my garage. It's approximately 90 sq.ft with a very low ceiling, a bit more than 6ft. Other...

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Thank you all for your nice comments. I'm thrilled you like it since I got a lot of inspiration from this forum. It's been two years since I started the makeover which took place in parallel with other projects. During the makeover I changed a few things like toolboxes, equipment, storage etc...

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Part 5 Two additions to the garage. The tilt storage bins were on offer at a local shop so I got a few, 108 to be precise. And although at first I believed I had exaggerated (once again), it got almost full with the hardware I already had. To be able to see through the bins is priceless...

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Part 4 A few pics of some additions to the garage. A steel bench - welding table I made, tall enough to accommodate the air compressor and an air-line circuit with two bench outlets and another outlet via the reel. I also added a wall fan and a couple of posters. I sold my lathe in order...

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Part 3 And you know how one thing leads to another, in order to install the motors and their ancillaries I had to remove all the lighting from the ceiling. Also both motors needed power and why not add a few more power outlets to the garage. So, I pulled the existing wiring out and threw it...

My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

Part 2 A friend of mine is working with a demolition company. He called me one Monday at 13:00 to let me know they were about to demolish a building in which, among other stuff, were two electrically operated overhead garage doors. So, until 5:30 before getting dark, I had to check the doors...

Extending the length of the door operator?

Hi, I got a pair of used doors which I adapted to suit my garage and I had to install the opener 9ft away from the door. My garage is a low ceiling one but here are the pictures anyway. Initial idea: And the details:
