Here is my old HF 44" box, Replaced by this 58" cornwell. Can't find a bad thing to say about the HF box, except that the drawers are just a bit too shallow for how I like my tools organized. It's now my gun toolbox, holding ammo & parts. Nothing bad to say about the Cornwell, either.

Working in a truck shop, I'd have to say besides constantly being covered in grease the best protector is diesel fuel. I keep some in a spray bottle and wipe all of my tools down before they go back in the box. It doubles as a great cleaner too.
