I've always used Stokoderm. It works great, but I've never compared it to anything else.

That's exactly what I did about 6 months ago with gel-filled cable. It's easy to find later if necessary as it's a straight shot from the exit from the house to the garage entrance.

The part number for the reinforced wheels (non quick-change) is 426. These are getting hard to find in the stores as it seems Dremel has switched these over to the quick-change type. I buy the 426 type wheels online in bulk for half (or less) than store prices. I've yet to have a problem with one.

In 40 years of making hoses daily I've never seen those, either. Since JIC fittings seat on the flares I can't imagine what they're for.

I've got 139" on mine. It takes a C5 Corvette with the arms in pretty tight, a Hyundai Elantra with about half arm extension as well as the El Camino in my avatar.

I've got a set of 'cheap' ball-bearing stands and their's nothing cheap about them (except the bearings) After dumping the balls on the floor a couple of times I programmed myself to pick the stands up by the neck instead of the saddle.
