    Adhesive for headliner reattachment?

I use this and it works great, even in the heat of the South:

    Changing a Watch Battery

I removed the back from an old pocket watch yesterday. There was no way to get a grip on it, so I stuck a piece of clay bar to it and flattened it out. That gave me the traction I needed. I put my palm on it and it came right off. No struggle.

Ever do something so stupid you wonder if you should be left unsupervised?

When I was young I was mounting a tire for a car I had on the lift adjacent to the horizontal tire changer. The top bead didn't want to seat, so I stupidly kept pouring the air to it. Well, when it popped it blew the top bead right off the wheel. Although not funny at the time, I ran and after...

    How can this be?

Here's what I did when I had the same problem. Not only did I repair it , I managed to piss off a whole bunch of contractors with my post. The unit still works fine: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/attempted-highway-robbery-by-hvac-company.484781/

    Liquid gloves?

I've always used Stokoderm. It works great, but I've never compared it to anything else.

    How to bury Cat6 cable?

That's exactly what I did about 6 months ago with gel-filled cable. It's easy to find later if necessary as it's a straight shot from the exit from the house to the garage entrance.

Anyone make their own hydraulic hoses?

I made hydraulic hoses for 40 years as a sideline business. I had the most massive inventory of Gates within a 50 mile radius of my shop. I found that it was more profitable to buy hose from Discount Hydraulic Hose than it was from Gates. I bought all of my hose through 1" 2 wire from them by...

    My Dremel *****

The part number for the reinforced wheels (non quick-change) is 426. These are getting hard to find in the stores as it seems Dremel has switched these over to the quick-change type. I buy the 426 type wheels online in bulk for half (or less) than store prices. I've yet to have a problem with one.

Bendpak XPR10AS Install Question - Hydraulic Lines

In 40 years of making hoses daily I've never seen those, either. Since JIC fittings seat on the flares I can't imagine what they're for.

    Shop Window Height

In keeping with the unwritten forum mantra of perpetuating replies to topics that have nothing to do with the original question, I add this: My big garage has no windows. Had I built it it would still have no windows.

    How to clean garage roof

I had the black streaks removed professionally from my asphalt-shingled house roof just last week. The stains were identified as an algae called 'gloeocapsa magma.' The house is 42' long with a 5/12 pitch. The contractor had this weird looking sprayer nozzle that easily reached the peak from the...

    MaxJax Column Spacing

I've got 139" on mine. It takes a C5 Corvette with the arms in pretty tight, a Hyundai Elantra with about half arm extension as well as the El Camino in my avatar.

What kind of bearings am I seeking?

I've got a set of 'cheap' ball-bearing stands and their's nothing cheap about them (except the bearings) After dumping the balls on the floor a couple of times I programmed myself to pick the stands up by the neck instead of the saddle.
