    The Every Week Car Wash

We live on a crushed rock road. The road rock is 3/4” with fines which means anything that goes through a 3/4” screen. Lots of limestone powder. Closest blacktop depending on direction is 2 miles, 2.8 miles or 4.7 miles. Drive slow they say. Ya right. Tried it once - made it to the end of...

Can i mount a motor on a wall-- on a hinge-- so that the weight of the motor holds the belt tight?

You can add an anvil if you need a little more weight. The anvil is attached to the alternator with a bungee cord as a tightener. From an appraisal I did for a bank trying to collect a loan.

    Black & Decker Workmate

Thanks. I started at that location in May of 1979 so those dates make sense. It is amazing how much I use it. Miter box saw, vise, bench grinder and just the simple portable work bench.

    Black & Decker Workmate

Black & Decker Workmate I received this between 1979 and 1982. It was sent to my workplace with my name on it. There are no numbers under the wood platforms. It is a 79-001. This is on the top but is illegible. Sent from my iPad using Garage Journal

    SHOP vs Man Cave

That’s it. I guess if the determining factor is left over galvanized pipe from another project I don’t know what to tell you. Of course it’s a bar. Sent from my iPad using Garage Journal

    SHOP vs Man Cave

Looking on the county assessor web site for our parcel number the shed is followed by the term man cave. Curious how they came up with that because nobody from the county has been there when we were home. Must have stopped and looked through the window. We will be following up on that this...

A couple pictures of the Wigwam room we stayed in. Thanks for your pictures and stories along Route 66. We have done the western MO border to the Wigwam motels on the West end. It did not work for us to go all the way to the pier. Hope to do MO and IL some time. Sent from my iPad using...
