    18 months later.....

    Is that the first flat screen in a garage on this site, sure won’t be the last! I like the old bowsers you have; I grew up around a servo in the 70’s so remember them from my childhood.

    recycled office chair bottoms

    I noticed nobody said they have a source for old tractor seats. Lived in a share house once where the kitchen seats where steel tractor seats, a plough blade base and piece of two inch pipe as the up stand, dam they where cool.

    Does this weld look okay?

    I’m with Franz; good effort. To me the finish looks better than the start, I’m guessing this is because of the accumulated heat that built up in the steel as you where welding, supporting the smaller rod or more heat advice. PS: I couldn’t weld like that when I was 16.
