Thanks for all the replies; the door functions exactly as it should, and I really don't want to disable the sensors. I just don't want the light coming on every time the beam is broken. Thank you LB-1911 for the links to various controls, these were some I had looked at. I'll order one...

Forgive me if this is a tired subject, but I have a LiftMaster garage door opener, it's an older model. I recently replaced the circuit board, all works great now, but now when the garage door is open, anyone/anything that crosses the sensors on either side of the door trips the garage opener...
