Recently retired professor of Industrial Technology/Manufacturing Science. Started as a Machinery Repairman in the USN and worked for 10 years in civilian shops before entering academia. Taught vocational machining for several years before returning to school for my doctorate. Taught in 3 different universities before clocking out for the final time. My primary duties was to teach lab classes such as welding, machining, casting, forging and fluid power. 2ndary duties included classes in quality, industrial management, and power distribution.
