Garage door seal keeps falling off. Rainwater seeps into the seal and the weight of it makes the seal fall off

This is on a HAAS 600 door. I look at other houses and they dont have the same type of seal. Theirs look like their seal is underneath the door. My door sits inside the seal.

    New Lumber Prices

My GC told me i paid about 3x the cost of pre-covid at $36. At the height, i think it was $56-$60 ish. That makes pre-covid at about $12. Located in MA

    New Lumber Prices

2x4 x 8’ is down to $3.15 in MA. But 2x4 x 10’ is at $6.**. That’s probably the “set price per truckload” in practice here. The 10’ rack was almost empty. Once they load it with new stock, the price should come down.

How can I surface mount a panel in a finished attached garage while protecting the romex going into it?

Are you referring to a trough or something similar? I Googled "box chase" and didnt see anything electrical related. Can you link me to something to give me somewhere to start my search? Thank you!

How can I surface mount a panel in a finished attached garage while protecting the romex going into it?

The wall that the panel will be mounted to is living area on the other side so I need 5/8" Type X drywall. The ceiling will also have 5/8" Type X drywalI. I will then put plywood on top of the drywall to give the panel something to secure to. How do I run the romex to the panel? How can I keep...

Is there an LED bulb that is "safe" for garage door openers?

Good point. My light is set for 4 minutes on. A 100 watt LED replacement is about 14 watts. At 2 bulbs each opener, that's 28 watts LED vs 200 watts incandencent. I dont know how much $$$ that is in $avings

Is there an LED bulb that is "safe" for garage door openers?

Does the interference have to do with the proximity of the LED to the opener or does it have to do with the LED being on the same internal circuit?

Is there an LED bulb that is "safe" for garage door openers?

I have 2 WLB8550 openers. The instructions say to only use incandescent bulbs. I want LEDs for the brightness and power savings. Is there an LED bulb that will work? I want light so I can see when I back into my garage. Thanks

"Fallen leaf" decorative concrete -- how'd they do that?

Had it rained recently in those pictures? I know a spray paint type coating that exists that changes the color when wet or is a water repellant. They may have used a stencil and sprayed painted this special coating. I remember of a city that did something similar but with words/messages instead...

What are the differences between Polyurea and Polyaspartic in terms of floor coatings

Looking at the instructions, it says my new concrete needs to have a CSP-2 surface profile. Does that mean I have to grind it? An acid etch is not enough?

What are the differences between Polyurea and Polyaspartic in terms of floor coatings

What is the expected life expectancy of the Nohr-s product, in a perfect world? It says 2 coats (1 primer and 1 clear). Would an extra coat of clear be more protective? Can the anti slip powder be used on the primer coat if only doing 2 total coats to make for a less aggressive texture? Does...

What are the differences between Polyurea and Polyaspartic in terms of floor coatings

What are the differences between Polyurea and Polyaspartic in terms of floor coatings? My googling only tells me that Polyaspartic and Polyurea are not the same and that Polyaspartic is a Polyurea. It still doesn't tell me what that means in terms of my floor and real world use. Also, what is...

If new concrete dries overnight, can I continue the hydration process in the morning?

I doubt that the concrete guys used a curing compound. My GC hired them. I will continue to visually monitor the wetness and will continue to spray water throughout the day. Water is cheap. They plan to saw cut on monday Thanks Willy

If new concrete dries overnight, can I continue the hydration process in the morning?

Concrete for my 25’ x 45’ garage floor was poured this morning starting at 7am at 45 degrees F. They finished using the float around 12pm at around 60 degrees F. They started the power trowel float machine. Multiple times throughout the day. Last trowel was at 6pm. Very nice smooth finish...
