Hello, folks. New forum member, here. Just picked up this nice Monarch 228. 4 1/2" smooth jaws, about 47 lbs. Looks pretty unmolested, and I'm thinking the paint remnants may be original. Date stamp is 6 7, which I believe is June, 1907? Or could it be June, 1897? Haven't done anything...
