Many years ago I would walk along SR7 in Hollywood Florida as I only lived about a mile from where I worked. I found a 3/8" Craftsman combination wrench with initials on it on the side of the road. A couple of days later a little farther up the road I found a 7/16" wrench with the same initials.
I have a Craftsman 1/4" drive V series ratchet. I used it last week to take apart and reassemble a 1960's Slingerland snare drum. It crossed my mind that it could have been put together originally with a similar wrench.
If it's a small job I'm more likely to grab my tools from my old S-K box...

I tore apart, cleaned and reassembled the carb on my 13 year old Echo line trimer. I can't complain, it's ever needed more than a spark plug and filters after 13 seasons.
I also mixed up a can of gas with Stabil for my snow blower and ran it for a bit...
