Well I will see how well they do now, apparently I had bought something once with the old site as all my information was in it. It’s to hard to pass up getting a couple Forge 8amps batteries cheaper than what one normally costs. They do nail you on the shipping.
I just looked through their site and very cheap on batteries versus others to the put it makes me nervous. Like the OP I’m now sitting with older batteries that are not so good, have 2 9amps that can only be used on low draw tools.
I was going to tell you I have that saw and that it handles everything I’ve asked of it, I looked and is the fuel version and was far from free. My experience using non fuel versions is they will work just fine.., I 2nd getting some bigger batteries thou.
You pull the wiper blades away from the windshield and then you can use the heater. I’m talking about melting off the ice and snow buildup on the blades.
Growing up I knew people that had their own service garages and working in truck shops there’s not really an oversized problem ever. The buildings are never built that efficient and like you stated the huge ice blocks coming in and out really **** up a lot of heat.
This is my heating options for my 24x24 garage. The big buddy heater is nice but no way is it going to heat my garage unless it’s really not the cold outside.
My usual thing is run the big heater to get the garage up to temp and then if I’m doing something for awhile the big buddy right by me...
Up home which is the tip of the peninsula in Wi everyone is on propane and unless they use the building for their business will heat as needed.
My Grandpa’s old shop is pretty decent sized and even without heat on it is a lot more comfortable than outside. We only run the heat when we need to...
That’s the fun part of cordless, you are stuck with the inferior option in this case Milwaukee or have to pony up some cash buying the tool and then batteries.
The main purpose I was looking at getting this for isn’t worth the buy in price, looks like I’ll be sticking with a torch.
I have a nice small butane torch that is nice but getting pretty wore out and I have to really watch to avoid melting the rubber covers. My thought on getting the heat gun is that it would be nice for thawing out the locks and frozen wiper blades to.
So I get the sucky job of opening the gates at work pretty early in the morning and we are coming up on winter that the locks freeze all the time. I’ve been thinking this would be a lot nicer than a butane torch to thaw out the locks.
So while it doesn’t work as well as people would like it...
The saw was laying on the center line of the road, how it got there and ended up with no damage is surprising. He is always helping people out and does a lot of cutting up trees so glad he found it.
I didn’t get a chance but I think I’ll dig out my old Echo gas trimmer and compare them.
The cultivator head I only used a couple of minutes to try it out but I appreciate the heads up with the cotter pins.
