GirlnAgarage One thing to be aware of is that sometimes they will put 2 set screws in the same hole to hold a pulley in place. The first one holds it tight to the shaft. The second one keeps the first one from comeing loose. I learned that trick the hard way, many years ago. Best of luck...

Hi Thomas Heads up to Wayne and Joe for beating me to the draw on the Beacon mounting plate not quite fitting in with the rest of the quality restoration. I kept thinking of this last night while I was trying to go to sleep. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one to notice. I'm sure that something...

Thomas Just so that you have something to compare the sound of that horn I found this. The Beep Beep song. Turn up your speakers and enjoy. That little turquoise and white Metropolitan sure was a cute little car. Cheers  Don

Thomas I found an interesting picture and guess where home is for it? You guessed it, Redkey, IN 47373, USA. I figured you and the other readers would enjoy seeing it. If it wasn't for the tree, a bit of putty and paint and it would be good to go. Rusted, Plumb Busted & Plain Wore Out ©...

Thomas It is amazing how you can have such a messy garage yet I looked long and hard and could not find any dirt. The worst that I found was a couple of drops of oil or antifreeze on the floor under the engine. Now if that was me working there wouldn't be clean spots the size of your dirty...

Shopnut Thanks for the welcome. I may be new but I have lurked for quite a while and read a lot of the different threads.
