Ok, got it, I'll try to edit it later. Thanks. When the start capacitor got hot I figured the centrifugal switch points were sticking, thats when I took it apart to check windings and inspect the switch. The points look good . I put a smaller uf with higher vac. Cap in it and it's working ok...

Thanks so much for your response. I had looked at different capacitor charts on line but getting a lot of range/variations in specs. I tried the sizes suggested, but the start capacitor was getting hot. Ive tested the windings on the motor (good). Also centrifugal switch is working properly...

Hello everyone, I recently purchased an Ingersoll Rand compressor model SS3R2-GM Has the SS3 compressor and 2HP Emerson motor 2hp 3450 rpm Single phase 115 volt It's is missing both the start and run capacitors. Am hoping to find someone that has the same model, So I can get the correct size...

Need help! Could I use the capacitor on the left in first picture to replace the original baldor on the right. Buffer is currently set to run on 115 single phase. I read you could go a little higher but not lower. I don't want to burn the windings up. Thanks.

Can any one tell me a estimated price for this wrench? It's a j.h. Williams 4 1/2 bull dog. 24" long , 5 1/2" wide. I'm in florida if location is a factor. Thanks in advance for any replies.
