4 Post Lift Planning - Garage Door Height

same 2-3" max to get off locks. I always mark the top lock level to make sure you don't go too far!

Lowered cars and 4 post rolling jacks

only issue I've ran into with lowered cars and bridge jacks are the manually pumped versions.. If air/hyd bridge jack clearance wasn't an issue for lowered GT3 or GTR/M3

Which jug water dispenser for garage?

Top feed, IMO. I've had the bottom loads, you have a pump to fail and harder to clean. Gravity never failed and the old school top loads, I swear get colder.

Would you consider this a professional overhead door installation?

2-3" gap!? Let us know what they say tomorrow.. I just had 3 8x10's with all new rails and openers, small father/son shop had them done in a full day. What did they charge for labor? or was it an "installed" price?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Fair enough! Here's a few of the compressor pad/project. Here it is, inside the new shed. Going to pop a hole through the back with black iron and main panel is about 10ft away on the interior garage wall.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Rented a liftgate box truck to pickup my "new" to me 7.5HP 80gal IR-T30 2475 Compressor! Underestimated 650lbs and not being palletized so took 3 of us to slowly walk it onto the liftgate and into the truck. Tossed onto new pad I poured last week and built a 6x4 shed around said monstrosity of...

    What makes a toolbox expensive/better?

The feel (drawer slides, locks, metal thickness, trim, etc) of a any highend Snap-on/Matco/Cornwell box is night/day over any craftsman/husky/big box special. I have both and they both get the job done but it's obvious the quality difference. Whether it's worth the cost difference is up to...

    Liftmaster 880LMW with 8500 opener

I changed mine out to an old school 2-wire doorbell switch on my 8500 after the original wall control failed.

    Would I regret a 4 post lift?

I started with a 2-post, now added a 4 poster to the garage a few months ago mainly for storage purposes. Will say it's awfully nice to be able to just drive on and lift. If I'm complaining about setting up a car on the 2-post when I'm 40, I'm sure I'll love it when I'm 60... Remember you're...

Garage, shop lighting design ideas...2400 sq. ft

I am using (3) Prime UFO's in my smaller 900sqft high-bay. Hung roughly @ 16' they're VERY bright.. I think the layout will give you a ton of great lighting with minimal shadows at your heights.
