    Ground path when checking voltage

I don’t know. We had a contract years ago to run bonding wires to interior wall receptacles in a bunch of houses. It was acceptable then, BUT that was 20 years ago. Might be best to ask your electrical inspector. If it is acceptable, it’s an easy fix.

    Ground path when checking voltage

You could run a single, coated green wire to the box and receptacle, and bond it to your cold water pipe with a clamp.

Anyone use propane for heat? what are your thoughts?

I am in Canada where it gets colder than -40. I heat with a furnace fed from a 1000 gallon propane tank. I can get a whole year on one tank so it’s not bad. If the propane is low though, and the temperature dips, I have had the propane gel up. Then I have to warm the tank up to get the gas...

    Lovely connection

It’s ok to just stick the wires in like that if you’re testing something. OHS wouldn’t like it but everyone does it.

    LED Wall pack experience

All the wall paks we install are LED. They put out a nice bright light and no one has ever complained. These should work good for you. IMO

Electrical box with vinyl siding mount block

We use pan boxes screwed on the surface of the plywood or OSB. We come into the back of the box with the wire, secured with a 4040 connector. Don’t come into the center knockout though, or the wire will be in the way of the fixture mounting bar. Keep in mind only one nmd90 is allowed in a pan box.

My vises - pictures, comments, and questions...

That Vise with the G in the diamond is a vise made by Smart manufacturing in Brockville, Ontario Canada. It is an old company started by James Smart. Some of his vises said Smart on them, but he did use the diamond G mark as well. I have a carpenters Vise with the same mark. This company made...

    Best electrical tape?

In Canada we have OHS. They don’t come around too much, unless someone calls them, or there has already been an incident. Sometimes some devices have to be energized. It’s just a fact of the construction business. If you are working in a multi floor building. Workers don’t want to run long...
