Yes I bought the 2-1/2" replacement hose they sell at HD now to try it. It comes with a few adapters, but they're all way too small and the hose itself is just much smaller diameter so I suspect its not going to handle the gutter cleaning job as well. I'll take it back for a refund if I find...

About 25 years ago, I bought a Ridgid Shop Vac. It still functions perfectly but the hose is worn out, starting to collapse from the suction in places. Unfortunately I can't find a replacement hose. They sell a 2 1/2" hose that says it fits all Ridgid shop vacs but it most definitely does...

Its been a year now and just to update, all appears well with AW32 hydraulic fluid purchased in gallon bottles from a local big-box home improvement store. Now if I could just make my cars quit leaking....

Reviving an old thread because I'm replacing all the seals in my lift's hydraulic cylinder. I really don't know exactly what fluid was put in the lift because when I bought it ten years ago, I had the vendor set it up in my shop and they filled it. Its red like ATF so probably is. Since then...
