Been searching the forum didn't find anything bout what kind of thermostat can be used with this model of heater. Can I use a programmable thermostat or just get a basic one when I got it it just had two wires hooked to it what I believe went to a thermostat included a pic of heater model tag...

Bought unit used but had no manual found one online not sure how far to mount from drywall ceiling any input thanks attached photo of manual clearances

Don't think it really needs anything just a cleaning I just found that was the only part not available anymore that's all thanks for the helpful info warren

Thanks have found most parts still available except for the burner manifold and since the price is only $150 for this unit if it works can afford to fix if the main valve is no good or other electrical items. I do have a venting question on this heater can I vent it horizontally out a side...

Picked up this heater for my 20x30 garage don't have to pay for it til I know it works disassembled heater cleaned and inspected looks ok have no cracks should I take the time to or look for something else
