Here’s the first attempt of the decal. It’s a PDF file. The decal diameter is 1.25”. If someone wants to give it a try, feel free. I am probably going to get some printing labels and try. I need to do a little research on the best way to affix the ink from an ink jet printer.

That may be a later model press “CYA” note. My DP is a 1965 # 113.24501. I think most of your presses are older.

Thanks. I’ll work on making a sticker for that. If I can get it done right, I’ll share with the forum.

There is a sticker on the center of the feed handle hub. Does anyone have a good copy of it? Has anyone made this?

I did see it. While much closer than @Hoorn, it’s 300+ miles and 5 hours away. Gas/wear/time makes Hoorn’s offer to ship much better even paying UPS’s ground rates. I’ve got the steel plate that was covering the table when I bought it. I can use it in the meantime until something pops up...

Thank you for the paint recommendation. It’s a close enough match. Probably need to hit it with some satin to take off a little shine, but color wise it’s close. While mine won’t be museum quality, it will serve me well and look good doing it. Now…. If I can just find a replacement table...

Thanks, I got a couple of cans of the Krylon machinery blue/gray ordered. I’m currently not planning on a full disassembly /restoration. I’m just trying to clean up the base and table, paint over the red overspray from the PO. I’m also going to clean up the handles and bolt heads, etc to make...

I may have missed it somewhere in these 4806 posts, but has anyone found a color match for the later Emerson, Crown logo 100/150 drill press? The colors I‘ve tried are too light including the Rust-Oleum Charcoal Gray (gloss & satin). This original finish seems to have a little dark green in...

I have finally joined the Craftsman drill press club thanks to @JoCoSawdust. I reached out to him to see if he had any leads and he did. I’ve watched Craigslist for months with nothing showing up. He told me about one on Facebook that was local. The ad had it for $100. I went to look at it...

We really pushed our son to get there before he was involved in too much Like girls, cars and football. He would have earned it a year ago if it hadn’t been for COVID. It shut down Scout activities. My two nephews both earned theirs within days of their 18th birthdays. Girls, cars, sports...

I failed to mention that the auction found Eagle Scout award was apparently in a fire. The box is charred and the inside shows damage as well. It has 6 palms (each palm is 6 months and 5 merit badges) plus a service star. The young man who earned that Eagle had to earn it around (by) the age...

Show your Vintage Boy Scout Tools

No BSA tools, but an interesting (to me) story. My mom and dad used to frequent auctions in Fayetteville NC, a military town for Ft. Bragg. At one of these auctions, they purchased a box of stuff. In this box was a presentation box with an aged, tarnished Sterling Silver Eagle Scout award...

    Extension cord holders?

I have a commonly used 50’ and a 25’ that I wrap up in the double up chain style mentioned above. I store them both in an old milk crate under my workbench. Easy for anyone to find but also out of sight.
