    Carpet or hardwood?

The house I bought last year was almost all carpet except for entrance, bathrooms, and kitchen. So far I have replaced all the bedrooms with LVP, I love the look and feel of it. I got kids so spills do not worry me in the least. The bathrooms got big 16 x16 inch vinyl tile that I grouted...

Do you Gojo to clean hands (dirt under fingernails level of dirty) ?

I'm a millwright so my hand get plenty dirty. I use a more preventative approach. I use a barrier cream after every coffee. The dirt sticks to the barrier cream pr-88 and it comes off with just water. And clean hands after!

    Broken/failed/warrantied hand driven wrench ?

Spead open the jaws on my mastercraft 5/8 wrench on a stubborn nut on a threaded rod. That's about it for me in my 5 years of industrial wrenching.

    Completly boreing garage

This is gonna be like my garage when I build but I'm going with a 24 x 24. It's gonna be simple, cheap, and generic looking but it will be awesome to have a decent space to work on my stuff.

Yard sales - a waste of time?

I went to my first auction sale last year and like someone was saying, bidding makes people dumb. Watching a bunch of farmers bid over a pile of rusty burning barrels full of holes is literally the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Yard sales - a waste of time?

Totally off topic (Kinda) but I'm canadian and don't know what harbor freight is? It sounds like a big walmart of crappy tools buy I'm not sure. Any Canadians on here know of a comparable store that I would know?

Who's using cordless as their primary impact wrench?

I do weekend maintainence at a plywood plant and my milwakee cordless, 3/8 and 1/2 inch, have became my main impacts. I still have a good cp air impact but unless I'm gonna be rattling bolts all day long I will just grab my cordless. Just easier.

    Lubricants on Threads

Anti seize is awesome stuff for stuff you take apart regularly. There are several places in our mill where big bolts are run on and off several times a shift and without some kind of thread lubricant the threads will not last. I use it everywhere because many things I maintain need constant...

Hydraulic Fittings Okay for Compressed Air?

We use hydraulic hose and fittings on air cylinders/systems all the time. They hold up a lot better in severe duty environments. You should be okay.

    From apprentice to teacher

Well I just got my jman ticket last year for millwright so now starting tommorow I got a 1st year apprentice to be the shift millwrights at the plant. I always had a jman above me to guide me through stuff if I had problems but now its just me. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Seems...
