Are the handles stairstepped like this?

I found the handles in a post on here from April of 2014 (quoted here). That box was not identified either, and has only single pulls per drawer rather than two. I've found Huot, Craftsman, Bonney, Blackhawk, Cornwell, etc., that have the same drawer layout and bottom door. Like I said, it...

Forgot to post this one up too. I got it a couple of weeks ago.

The original color was a light hammered grey/green.

It's a pretty generic looking box, overall. Here's a few shots of it.

Maybe Mac or Cornwell. I have a Snap-on box from that period and the handles are cast, not stamped like these. I have a few earlier snap-ons as well and their handles aren't as ornate as these.

Does anyone recognize these handles and have an idea of who used them?

Also, on the subject of handles for old tool boxes, does anyone know where I might find an end cap for the handle on a 1981 KRA380? Nothing on Google or eBay, and Facebook groups were just "3D print one!" If it was going to be a daily use box that would be fine, but I'm wanting to put it back...

Thanks, I'll have to look him up. Yeah, we'll go with that. 😁 Thank you. I'll get in touch with him.

Picked this one up this week. Early '40s K21, sadly missing the tote and slider from the bottom drawer. Very slight curve to the bottom drawer, but nothing major. Does anyone redo the leather handles?

Logo plate and, as near as I can tell, 1948 was the first year for the KR56. 1948 was, again as far as I can tell, the last year of the angled logo. After that the plate was rectangular.

If anyone is in the Orlando/Ocala area, here's a nice KRA429A mid box for fifty bucks. He won't ship though, I already tried.

Picked this pair up over the weekend for $100. KRA380 and KRA59E, both 1981. Not a lot of work needed on them other than clean up and removing that gawd-awful flexible "chrome" that was so popular in the '80s.
