Good morning, I'm getting to the point of the build where the electrician is coming in to install fixtures and lights.
I'm planning on mounted some long CFL lighting along the walls but don't know what height I should do it.
Electrician thought 6' would be a good height but I'm 6'1" and...
Do you think 18 gauge is think enough for garage shop?
Also, is a 24x24 large enough tub? I can't remember what size mine was in my old house
Here is the link...
Yeah, I know its preference but I wanted to get your thoughts.

Hey everyone. I'm in the portion of my build where plumbing is about to go in for the sink in my detached garage. He have been told there is not enough grade to meet the required drain pipe slope.

I'm building a 30x30 detached garage so the slab will be new and Id like to coat it before I move all my stuff in.
I have gotten a few quotes locally but they are up near $5k. And I really don't...
Its a tough call.
I am 100% for a 2 post lift, I have worked on them and they are great but I'm really struggling with the fact I would only be able to put one car in that bay. I'm not a fan of have a car up on a 2 post for any long period of time with suspension sagging as well as only having...
Well after spending 8 hours under my truck yesterday changing a broken transmission dipstick tub I'm ready for my garage to be built.... oh yeah, and the 8 hours was in a storage unit because that is where all my tools are.
Here is a little information. I do a good amount of work on my cars...
Yes, I know the debate will never end.
Guys who have 4 post lifts do any of you use the center roller Jacks that lifts the cars up off the 4 post lift to access wheels off work?
Does it really work comfortably like a 2 post lift or is a 2 post a lot better?
I was going to add one 4 post...
