    'Best' cordless 3/8 " ratchet?

I have both and snap on wins hands down. I used them everyday to make money so the time saving and better power of the snap on is well worth the price difference. If you are just a diy'r using at home for occasional use and just want to run some bolts in and out get the m12. The m12 hold up...

Tool truck pricing vs online pricing

Depends on drivers and how much u buy. I but a lot from snappy so I don't even have to ask for deals or discounts. He just takes care of me and treats me right. Prolly 20-25% off most stuff and freebies. But I prooly spend 10k a year with him. Matco guy is ok but does not deal as much. All u...

Thought on new Snap On handle?

I love doing that, I have the larger hard handle on one of my matco 1/4 flex, since the matco guy was giving me a hard time about warranty for the worn handle. That long 1/4 ratchet is the best thing ever, I use mine everyday.

The best set of ratcheting wrenches

snap on also has a new set of reversible flank drive plus dual 80. They are super nice. But not cheap. Like 450 for the metrics

    Snap-On vs Ingersol Rand

Blue point is not rebranded Ingersoll stuff. I would never waste the money on snap on air tools when better choices are out there, and I have 100k worth of snap on ****. I have almost all IR air tools for past 20 years. I don't use them nearly as much as I once did now that cordless tools are...

Dake press 75 ton. Should I restore or sell it?

It needs a few other parts to make it perfect. New cables, gauge, table pins, screw adjuster is a little bent etc. dake parts are not cheap by any means. But yes all cleaned and repainted and fixed up will increase the value greatly. The whole press need s to be stripped down and repainted to...

Dake press 75 ton. Should I restore or sell it?

I need a press. It's just a little big footprint for my home shop. I don't ever have a need for 75 tons. So would prolly just get a nice 50 ton baileigh for 2k. Even swap. I'm just outside of Chicago. No question these are the best presses ever made. Fully restored and perfect its with 4K all day.

Dake press 75 ton. Should I restore or sell it?

I have a decent Dake 75H that still works great. I got it with the intention of painting it and rebuilding everything but time is always an issue for me in the shop. So just wondering if anyone had an idea what these were worth and actually selling for. I figure 1500-2000 on craigslist would...

New snap on ctr714 1/4 cordless ratchet 14.4v

Yup got one today. Got that and the new 3/8. I also have both m12 milwaukees. The snap on ones are much stronger and rpm is way faster. Are they worth the price? Prolly not, LOL. But in my opinion they are much better and will actually break bolts loose.

    Moving machinery up stairs?

call some real dudes, lol. 400 pounds is nothing. Something that small no need for any big equipment. Get a set of over shoulder moving straps that u can put under if u feel the need.

Apex's handling of the Armstrong Brand closure

Matco is still using he same ratchets since they switched to a new vendor. I have had all of mine rebuilt recently. There were no parts for like a year. I have been waiting on some long wrenches for warranty for over a year. Totally ridiculous. I would assume that the matco kits would work...

    Shop Scan Tool Upgrade

I have new snap on verus with a scope, great tool autel maxisys and otc genisys, and a tech 2, a rosstech, vagcom, and a Porsche cable with labtop, forget who makes that one. I would say the autel is the best value for the money and will do pretty much everything. However if you have an issue...
