Never tried Kroil but I've used Seafoam to remove carbon deposits on intake runners to good effect. The GM dealerships have a good cleaner too that might soften up hard carbon deposits, ACDelco X66P.
Try a 5S approach
I hear you. I somethings think a hoarder/slob lives in my gargage because it couldn't be me making all that mess. :willy_nil It gets to a point I have to stop working altogether and clean the whole mess up before I can continue on a project. I've been gradually adopting a...
I find if a building is unheated, the air will tend to equalize to the average outside humidity levels. A cold concrete floor doesn't help either as humid air can condense and feel damp. I run a dehumidifier in my detached garage during humid summer days and rainy fall weather to protect the...
Costco has one of the better ones that I've seen. The HF ones are cheesy in comparison. They work OK but DO NOT park anything of much value in them. Strong winds or heavy snow can take them down and either of those conditions can come about by surprise. I used one to temporarily shelter a...
Check with their customer service to be sure but I had Home Depot deliver a Husky 2-stage upright and they brought it up a 300' driveway and droped it at the garage door. It's on a pallet and it was up to me to get it the rest of the way.
You should be pleased with them. I'm running 12 of those 4 X 4' Metalux and have had no problems. The Sylvania ballast is a good design. Even my FM stereo works OK.
I like that era of pumps too. One thing I don't understand is why almost all the restored pumps have the actual pump mechanisms removed and they are described as just display pieces. Even if I didn't want to use it as a pump, I'd still want all the internal pump parts intact. Makes about as...
Would have to see pictures to better advise. Where there is mold, you would want to see if it is just on the surface of the fiberglass or runs deeper. If more than just the surface, I would tear it out and replace. If just the surface and very spotty/light, you could just remove the old poly...
So I decided to go with the Bissell Garage Pro since it had decent reviews and had the blower function plus water pickup and reusable filters. I like the idea of not having to buy proprietary disposable filters. There is someone on ebay selling 3 new in the box Bissells for $129 delivered so...
I'm looking for a reasonably priced wall mounted vac to mostly deal with car cleaning and light shop cleaning. I'll still have a heavy duty shop vac on hand for bigger jobs. I've found the following three wall mount vacs that fit my budget and they appear similar. They also look like consumer...
You should probably also get both types of construction quoted out finished for comparison. You will likely find the cost begin to equal out since post construction often requires more labor and material to finish out that stick built in my experience.
Are you are planning on building a home too? If so, save your cash and try to get a short term contract from the seller for like 5-10 years. Then get a convetional mortage when the house is finished and pay off the contract. Usuallay to get a building permit, you will need a deed of trust...
Thanks mrbreeze for scanning that $289.99 coupon. It worked for me today and this cabinet is a steal at that price. Quality was great for a homeowner grade cabinet.
