I just love cranberry. I think its the best Snap on Color. I bought my base cabinet slightly used (and saved like 50%) and white was my second choice. Wish I could have found cranberry before I added the work station and side lockers. Are you going to be adding to this one?

I don't think I've seen white/chrome yet in this thread so here is mine. Right side powered locker is on order. I'm sure I'll end up with a left side locker at some point too.

What would you pay for a Snap-on Epiq 68"?

You are right - that box is a little rough. I've seen repos in better condition than that. I'd say straight up deduct the cost of the replacement drawer off the $3500 and see where you're at. You could sand down both those sides and repaint them or put a side locker on them and cover them.

What would you pay for a Snap-on Epiq 68"?

I just picked up this 68" EPIQ in gloss white for $4700. It's in near perfect condition. I feel like I got a fair deal. I'd say $3700 is a heck of a good deal if its in excellent shape. The best my Snap On guy could do was $4500 for a scratched up 54" KRL repo. I told him no way. I bought...

Vintage Craftsman Machinist's Chest - Help Identify

Wow. It looks very close to the one you posted in your first three photos. What year is that one?

Vintage Craftsman Machinist's Chest - Help Identify

If you compare it to a Union MT-7 from late 40s or early 50s about the only thing different is the shape of the top lid. Everything else looks identical. What do you make of the Craftsman badge with the "Registered Trade Mark" bottom line versus the "Registered U.S. Pat. Off."? -E

Vintage Craftsman Machinist's Chest - Help Identify

While the drawer pulls look right for Parks, a quick search of Parks boxes on the internet doesn't seem to pull up any that have three draw latches and the inside of the front panel on the Parks boxes all look smooth - no recessed areas.

I'm not expert, but to my eye the pulls are distinctly different than any I've seen from Dunlap. Maybe you can post a comparative photo though. -E

Vintage Craftsman Machinist's Chest - Help Identify

Hi guys, First post but I've been lurking here for a while (few years, lol). I picked up this vintage Craftsman machinist's tool box for $100 shipped. Not a you **** deal but the chest was so interesting to me after having looked at what seemed like 1000 of these things that I had to have it...
