Re: The Blue Garage - Bucharest, Romania Love the chairs Bogdan! I have two like those myself, but the backs are metal on mine. I'll have to clean up them up. Thanks for reminding me!

I love the paint on the machines and the vise there, excellent work.

Re: Rick's Audi Double I've had a lot of trouble with Griot's pumps and especially with the spigots you can get for their gallon jugs; the odds are about even on any particular spigot making a good seal with the jug. Very annoying!

Thanks for posting that brochure! In the 80s my dad had a second-hand 914 in "Sunflower Yellow" (very popular color for that car). No A/C, which was brutal in Florida but that meant the targa roof was always open!

This is fantastic! I'm pleased you're able to put signs up, it seems like most neighborhoods in the United States would not allow that sort of thing.

I'm very impressed with that roof rack, it's an inspiration!

    Basketcase of a Converted Carport

Here's a plywood mount I designed for my bench grinder, intended to be portable so I can take it to my outdoor workbench when I want to make a big mess. Dovetails I cut partially by hand, partially by bandsaw. The handholds I routed using a lasercut acrylic template and a top-bearing trim bit...

    Basketcase of a Converted Carport

I've converted the old desk with hutch into my electronics workstation: Made a holster for my heat gun out of aluminum bar: And made some lasercut plywood storage bins for the sides:

    Small space, big ambition!

Ugh, I know what that's like! I pulled 7 juniper stumps of various sizes by hand last May, out of New England's stony ground. Hard work! Good idea with the car there.

    Basketcase of a Converted Carport

Here's something I made recently. For many years my house number was marked by stainless steel numbers from Blomus that have bosses on the back so that they float off of the wall surface somewhat. When we painted the house gray the stainless just didn't have enough contrast against that...

New garage build. New to the forum.

Sweet! I love the way this looks already with the cedar shingles and the small porch in the front. Good luck with your build!

    Basketcase of a Converted Carport

I picked up this 5-drawer Husky tool chest at Home Depot for $48, new-in-box. Not bad for ball-bearing slides. It triggered a fresh round of shop organization. I moved the old shelves to high on the opposite wall, exploiting some unused space and freeing up the corner. After shifting the...

Here's a photo of the bedroom workshop. Not much to report on the garage at the moment, unfortunately.
